Today was a sad day, but not a bad one. I'm grateful:

-I was able to be here
-We were able to take him to his favorite vet
-He was able to say goodbye to everyone
-He was able to give one last goodbye to his girl
-He was happy to the very end
-A new joy will be entering our lives tomorrow
